Job Description:Pharmacy Technician Grade 3Permanent, full-time positionFitzroy location – close to Melbourne’s CBD and public transportSenior pharmacy technician opportunity within a skilled and supportive teamAbout the RoleAn exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Grade 3 Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy Department at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. You will bring advanced technical knowledge and experience to the role, working with a high degree of autonomy and accountability to support the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of pharmacy services. As a senior member of the pharmacy technician team, you will contribute across specialised pharmacy services, including aseptic and chemotherapy preparation.Your key responsibilities will include:Providing aseptic services, including chemotherapy compounding, biohazard sterile preparations and sterile manufacturingSupporting satellite pharmacy and dispensary servicesManaging imprest supplies, inventory and stockSupporting PBS claims and associated processesWorking autonomously while collaborating closely with pharmacists and the broader Pharmacy teamContributing your experience and technical expertise to the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality pharmacy servicesClassifications will be Pharmacy Technician Grade 3 TH10 ($68,384.16 per annum).About YouYou are an experienced hospital pharmacy technician with advanced technical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work confidently and autonomously within a busy hospital environment.You will bring:Certificate IV in Hospital Pharmacy/Health Services Support,
