Key responsibilities

- Carry out maintenance requests, preventative tasks and service work across a number of commercial and government sites
- Complete general building maintenance and repairs – minor carpentry work, patching, painting, plasterboard repairs, flooring and furniture repairs
- Complete inspections and assessments to identify maintenance issues before they become larger problems
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service
- Maintain accurate records in our job system of maintenance requests, inspections and completed works
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
- Maintain clean, secure and organised work areas
- Out of hours assistance with urgent maintenance issues as per job/client requirements when required

About you

- Previous experience as a Handyman, Maintenance Technician, Tradesperson or similar
- Strong general trade knowledge and practical skills
- Carpentry or construction experience highly regarded




- Holds valid White Card/General Construction Induction
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and face to face skills
- Valid driver's licence
- Own hand tools required
- A permanent, full-time role with a competitive salary (based on experience)
- 38 hours a week plus RDO's
