About the Role Australian Workforce is seeking a reliable, motivated and hands-on Warehouse Storeperson to join a busy warehouse operation in Yatala, specialising in a diverse range of flooring products, accessories and trims.

This is an ongoing opportunity, with work expected to continue through at least the Christmas period and the potential for a longer-term position for the right candidate.

Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, you will play an important role in keeping daily operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include receiving and organising incoming stock, unloading shipping containers, picking and packing customer orders, maintaining accurate inventory records and preparing products for dispatch.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail and can adapt quickly to changing priorities. You’ll be organised, proactive and comfortable balancing a variety of warehouse tasks while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, unload and check incoming deliveries and shipping containers.
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently, including small parts, accessories and flooring trims.
- Verify product codes,



quantities and order details to ensure picking accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels, replenish inventory and maintain accurate stock locations.
- Store, organise and locate products efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Perform regular stocktakes, investigate discrepancies and assist with inventory control.
- Safely operate a forklift to move, load and unload stock as required.
- Assist with general warehouse duties and respond to urgent requests or changing operational priorities.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and protected working environment in line with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, storage practices and workflow efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational and dispatch requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a practical approach to warehouse operations.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience in a warehouse, storeperson or logistics role.
- A current LF forklift licence and demonstrated experience operating a forklift safely.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate order picking and stock handling.
- Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive mindset and the confidence to work independently and take initiative.
- A reliable, punctual and team-oriented approach.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
- The physical fitness required for regular manual handling, including lifting items weighing 25 kg or more, where required.
- A sound understanding of workplace health and safety and safe manual-handling practices.
- Experience handling flooring products, building materials, trade supplies or similar inventory (highly regarded).
