Head of Insurance & Strategic Partnerships – PropertyVAULT

DataDot Technology Limited is seeking an experienced insurance industry skilled to lead the national growth of PropertyVAULT Insurance Services and develop strategic partnerships across the Australian general insurance market. PropertyVAULT provides an established national service that assists insurers in identifying, locating and recovering stolen assets, helping reduce insurance claim losses and improve recovery outcomes. This is a senior, hands‑on commercial role reporting directly to the CEO and Managing Director of DataDot Technology Limited and Founder of PropertyVAULT. You will have the autonomy to develop a national partnership strategy, identify commercial opportunities, prepare compelling proposals, negotiate agreements and convert relationships into operational partnerships.

Key responsibilities

Develop and execute a national strategy to secure new insurance partners, with an initial focus on Australian general insurers, particularly motor insurance and claims operations

Engage directly with executives and decision‑makers across motor claims, claims operations, recoveries, fraud, procurement and insurance service‑provider management

Manage the complete partnership development process, from initial engagement and chance identification through business cases, presentations, negotiations and commercial agreements

Work with the PropertyVAULT operations team to ensure new partnerships progress through onboarding and implementation to operational go‑live, while retaining senior commercial relationship ownership

Maintain a visible presence within relevant insurance industry associations, professional networks, conferences and forums,



particularly those connected with general insurance, motor claims, fraud prevention and asset recovery

Identify and develop relationships with insurers, claims service providers, recovery specialists and other industry participants that can generate new recovery opportunities, commercial partnerships and revenue

Develop complementary commercial relationships across vehicle finance and leasing, fleet and rental companies, car parking operators, vehicle detection and telematics providers, and the broader asset‑recovery ecosystem

Work with the CEO on selected relationships involving government agencies, police, councils and other organisations where these contribute to PropertyVAULT's commercial and operational objectives

Maintain a qualified partnership pipeline, report progress and commercial opportunities to the CEO, and provide reliable forecasts of prospective agreements, implementation milestones and revenue

About you

Substantial experience in the Australian general insurance industry, ideally within motor insurance, claims operations, recoveries, fraud prevention, insurance partnerships or related commercial services

Established professional relationships and credibility with senior decision‑makers across Australian general insurers

A solid understanding of how insurance companies assess, approve and implement new commercial service‑provider relationships





Demonstrated success developing complex commercial partnerships, including preparing proposals, negotiating agreements and managing implementation

The confidence to engage senior insurance executives as a trusted industry professional

Strong commercial judgement, communication and presentation skills, including the ability to prepare business cases, financial propositions and executive‑level presentations

A proactive, self‑directed approach to identifying opportunities and developing relationships

The ability to work independently in a lean commercial environment while collaborating closely with the CEO and operational team

A willingness to work regularly from the Brookvale office and undertake national travel as required

A senior national role working directly with the CEO and Managing Director of an ASX‑listed Australian company
