We’ve worked in the Pacific for more than 40 years and are now establishing a permanent presence in Fiji.

As our first Pacific Hub Director, you’ll lead the next stage of our Pacific business, building on our long-standing work in the region. Based in Suva, you’ll have the backing of a solid technical business and real autonomy to lead. You’ll also be the key link between our Pacific operations and T+T Group’s operating companies in New Zealand and Australia.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll lead the development of our Fiji business and wider Pacific operations, building on our established relationships and project experience. That means:

- Leading market growth - identifying, developing and converting opportunities across waste management, water and sanitation, environmental management, climate resilience, infrastructure and advisory services
- Representing T+T as our business leader in Fiji and the Pacific Islands – working with government ministries, state-owned enterprises, development finance institutions, donor agencies, contractors and community partners
- Connecting our Pacific operations with T+T Group’s operating companies in New Zealand and Australia – bringing the right expertise and resources together to support clients and project delivery
- Building and leading a local team – recruiting, developing and retaining Fiji-based staff, with a focus on local capability and sustainable career pathways
- Developing our Fiji operations – building on the office already in place and strengthening the systems and local operating arrangements needed to support the business
- Delivering with confidence - maintaining oversight of project performance, managing commercial risk,



and ensuring delivery consistent with T+T's standards and values

Who We're Looking For

You bring at least 10 years' experience in consulting, engineering, environmental management or professional services - and you understand what it takes to grow a business in a Pacific or emerging-market context.

Specifically, you'll have:

- A proven track record of leadership within a consulting or professional services environment
- Strong commercial and business development capability - you know how to build a pipeline and close work
- An established professional network in Fiji, including relationships with government, SOEs, DFIs, donors, industry bodies and civil society organisations
- Strong cultural intelligence and the ability to build long-term trust across diverse Pacific contexts. Familiarity with iTaukei cultural protocols, community engagement practices and Fiji's multicultural environment is a real advantage
- An entrepreneurial mindset - you're comfortable with ambiguity, energised by building, and focused on outcomes
- A relevant technical degree (engineering, environmental science or similar); a business qualification is advantageous
