About The Role

An established public practice firm with a strong advisory focus is looking for an Intermediate or Senior Accountant for its Childers office. With mentorship from senior staff and the leadership team across multiple offices, you will step into client facing work early and progress quickly. Whether you are already local or ready for a lifestyle change, this is a great move. Experienced bookkeepers looking to progress into accounting are also encouraged to apply.

What You Will Be Doing

- Preparing and reviewing tax returns and financial statements for a varied client base
- Working directly with clients, building relationships and becoming a trusted point of contact
- Providing advisory support beyond compliance, including tax planning and business improvement
- Learning from senior staff and the leadership team on more complex client matters

What We Are Looking For





- Intermediate or senior level experience in public practice accounting, or an experienced bookkeeper ready to progress
- Robust technical knowledge across individuals, companies and trusts
- Confident communicator who is comfortable dealing with clients directly
- Willingness to be mentored and trained by senior staff
- Drive to progress and take on more responsibility
- Degree qualified in accounting or commerce, or working towards it
- Local to Childers or the surrounding region, or keen for a lifestyle change
