We’re seeking an experienced pharmacist with managerial experience who is confident working as the sole pharmacist and leading a friendly, established team.

You’ll be supported by a strong front-of-shop team, including long-serving staff who know our customers and community well.

About the role

As Pharmacist in Charge, you'll oversee the safe and efficient operation of the dispensary while delivering approachable, professional patient care. You'll be supported by a strong front-of-shop team, including long-serving staff who know our customers and community well. You may also be required to act as a preceptor to an intern pharmacist,



providing supervision, mentoring and support as they work towards general registration. Your responsibilities will include:

Key responsibilities

- Dispensing accurately and providing clear medication counselling
- Managing dispensary workflow and prioritising patient needs
- Leading and supporting the pharmacy team
- Building relationships with patients, local prescribers and other healthcare professionals
- Supporting skilled services - reaching KPI targets eg Medschecks
- Overseeing Dose administration aid services
- Providing Vaccination, Cannabis and Vape services
- Supervising and mentoring an intern pharmacist as a preceptor, if required
- Maintaining professional, regulatory and quality standards

About you

What we require for the role:

- Current general registration as a pharmacist with Ahpra.
- Experience in Australian community pharmacy.
- Previous pharmacist management or leadership experience.
- Confidence and sound clinical judgement when working as the sole pharmacist.
- Strong communication, organisation and customer service skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach and a supportive leadership style.
