We are seeking current production operators at our Northgate Steel site to assist in the production of reinforcing steel for use in concrete footings, slabs and structures.
About the Role
- $27.20 to $31.23 per hour depending on experience
- Full time permanent role with overtime available
- Working with raw materials and varied machinery
- Cutting, bending, welding, bundling and loading steel onto trucks
- Mix of customer service, stores, warehouse and machine operation tasks
About you
- All on the job training provided, opportunities to upskill across the facility
- Experience with hand tools or welding desirable
- Physically fit to work in a manual role
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
- Must be able to pass all satisfactory pre-employment checks - includes Medical + Drug & Alcohol + Police Check
