The Location

Ask any Australian, Tasmania is known for its beautiful fresh produce and seafood, attracting “foodies” with its restaurants and cafes.

The temperate climate and four distinct seasons - including gloriously warm summers without the oppressive humidity or heat, and cool winters - mean the region has perfect wine growing conditions and this is reflected in the excellent wines produced along the Tamar River, with lots of little boutique wineries.

The rugged and beautiful North West Coast of Tasmania is a tourist mecca, has a solid agricultural sector, a developing innovative industrial sector and is positioned with airports and sea transport so it is very accessible to the rest of Tasmania and the Australian mainland. Air travel from Devonport to Melbourne is less than one hour. The property market has significantly lower prices than mainland Australia.
