This hands-on role offers variety across tooling maintenance, machining, repairs and production support, helping keep extrusion operations running efficiently and producing quality products.
What you'll be doing

- Maintaining, repairing and modifying extrusion tooling, dies, mandrels and calibrators
- Performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting tooling issues
- Machining and modifying components using lathes, milling machines, drills and grinders
- Preparing tooling for production changeovers and different pipe sizes
- Inspecting, assembling, dismantling and refurbishing tooling
- Working closely with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime




- Ensuring tooling meets required tolerances and product quality standards
- Maintaining a protected, clean and organised toolroom

What we're looking for

- Toolroom, fitting, machining or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring equipment
- Experience with extrusion tooling or PVC pipe manufacturing is highly regarded
- A proactive approach to safety, quality and preventative maintenance
