About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Showroom Manager with Interior Design to join our Brisbane team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your showroom management expertise with your interior design knowledge to drive sales, enhance customer experiences and contribute to the visual presentation of our space. Working with the Showroom Manager, you will play a pivotal role in representing our brand and ensuring our showroom operates as both a functional retail workplace and an inspiring design showcase.
This position is essential to our business operations and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on not only client satisfaction but also business development.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the showroom manager in the development of the Commercial Trade market for Natuzzi Italia in the Queensland market.
- Provide expert interior design advice and guidance to customers, helping them make informed design choices and selections
- Assist with the curation of display spaces to showcase design concepts reflecting Natuzzi Italia worldwide.
- Support the Showroom Manager in achieving sales targets and expanding the client base through as excellence in service and design consultation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their design needs and offering tailored recommendations
- Manage customer inquiries, quotations and follow-up communications in a professional and timely manner
- Participate in training and professional development to stay current with interior design trends and product knowledge
- Support marketing initiatives and promotional events that enhance the showroom's visibility and appeal
What we're looking for
- Qualification or demonstrated experience in interior design within a high end environment.
- Previous experience in a showroom, retail or client facing environment with a proven track record of excellent service and sales results.
- Strong understanding of interior design products, materials, furnishings and finishes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and guide clients through design decisions.
- Sales acumen and the ability to translate design expertise into client value propositions
- Proficiency with design visualisation tools or software, or willingness to develop these skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Flexibility and a collaborative approach to working within a team environment
