Looking to build your investment banking career on a global platform and develop specialist expertise across financial institutions?

Kenbury is partnering with an established global investment bank seeking an early-career Associate to join its Sydney FIG team. This opportunity would suit an Analyst III ready to step into an Associate role, or an Associate I seeking a platform with international reach.

The opportunity

You will join a team with established senior leadership and a dedicated Senior Associate layer, taking a hands-on role in financial analysis and transaction execution. The position offers the opportunity to deepen your modelling skills, develop sector knowledge and build increasing independence working alongside experienced bankers.

Your responsibilities will include

- Building financial models, valuation analysis and transaction presentations.
- Preparing marketing materials and information packs.
- Supporting due diligence, managing data rooms and coordinating transaction workstreams.
- Working closely with senior bankers across live mandates and origination initiatives.




- Taking ownership of deliverables and contributing reliably throughout the transaction process.

Who would suit the role? We are particularly interested in candidates currently at Analyst III or Associate I level within an investment bank or established independent advisory firm.

You will bring strong financial modelling skills, sound transaction experience and the ability to work independently. Just as important are curiosity, initiative and a solid work ethic: the team values someone who learns quickly, takes responsibility and wants to develop their skills.

Previous FIG experience would be valuable, although candidates from other sector teams with a clear interest in financial institutions are encouraged to apply. Exceptional candidates from Big Four M&A; teams at Manager level or above may also be considered.

This role suits someone committed to building a strong foundation at Associate level, with progression based on demonstrated capability and readiness for greater responsibility.
