PPS Servicing has proven experience and capabilities in the mining industry with maintenance, construction, engineering design, fabrication and installation of industrial facilities.

We're currently seeking an experienced Belt Splicer to join our team on a 2/1 roster at SINO IRON, Cape Preston.

About the Role:

Belt Splicer – 2:1 Roster (day shift only) Location: Sino Iron Ore, Cape Preston (FIFO from Perth)

Employment Type: Full time

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform belt changeouts. Inspect, diagnose, and repair conveyor belt systems, including splicing, tensioning, and aligning belts
- Ensure high standards of safety are maintained at all times
- Work within a dynamic and fast-paced mining environment
- Identify and troubleshoot issues efficiently and effectively
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a belt splicer, preferably in the mining sector
- Strong maintenance background in a mining (SMP) or heavy industrial environment




- Proven experience working in complex environments

Successful candidates will possess the following:

- High Risk Work Licence (WP/EWP)
- Valid WA Drivers Licence
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
- Confined Space certification
- Working at Heights certification
- Certificate III in Polymer Processing (desirable)
- Must be an Australian Citizen or have valid working rights
- Ability to work in extreme heat

Applicants will be required to:

1. Undertake and pass a Pre-Employment Medical and D&A; Test before commencement.
2. Willing to be clean-shaven for the use of P2 Respirators.
