At Westco BMW Cairns, we're looking for a passionate, qualified Automotive Technician to join our team.

Whether you're already working with a premium European brand or you're an experienced technician ready to take the next step, we'd love to hear from you.

Why Westco BMW?

Westco Motors is an award-winning, locally family-owned dealership with a proud history in Far North Queensland.

We're large enough to offer the opportunities, facilities and professional development associated with a leading automotive group, yet local enough to genuinely value our people.

What makes Westco different?

- People-first culture: Be part of a friendly, experienced team where teamwork, respect and looking after each other matter.
- Premium brand experience: Work with BMW vehicles, advanced diagnostic technology and modern workshop equipment.
- Career development: Ongoing training, technical development and opportunities to grow your expertise.
- Supportive leadership: Work alongside experienced professionals who value quality workmanship and continuous improvement.
- Work-life balance: Our BMW service centre operates Monday to Friday, allowing you to enjoy what Far North Queensland has to offer.
- Rewarding opportunity: Attractive remuneration reflecting your qualifications,

experience and technical capability.

Your next chapter starts in Cairns Picture weekends exploring the Excellent Barrier Reef, discovering waterfalls and rainforest trails, relaxing on tropical beaches or escaping to the Atherton Tablelands.

Cairns offers a relaxed outdoor lifestyle, shorter commutes and opportunities to enjoy life outside the workshop.

Why spend your career waiting for holidays when you could live somewhere people travel to experience?

What we're looking for

- A qualified Light Vehicle Automotive Technician.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills with pride in quality workmanship.
- A professional attitude and genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.
- A willingness to learn, develop and embrace new automotive technology.
- A team player who values safety, reliability and supporting colleagues.
- A current driver's licence.

BMW or European vehicle experience is highly regarded, but not essential. The right attitude, technical ability and commitment to developing your skills are just as important.

Ready for something better?

If you're looking for a premium automotive career, a team that values your contribution and a lifestyle that's hard to beat, we'd like to hear from you.
