The Royal Hotel Port Elliot is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Cleaner to join our team.

This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout our bar, restaurant and accommodation areas, ensuring a welcoming setting for guests and staff. Shift pattern is mostly Saturday and Sunday mornings, approx. 6:30am-11am

✅ Reliable transport for a 6:30am start in Port Elliot

✅ Able to perform physical cleaning duties

✅ Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience (preferred, not essential)

Key Responsibilities

- Cleaning and sanitising bar, restaurant, and public areas
- Vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping floors
- Cleaning bathrooms and replenishing supplies
- Managing some laundry and room preparation
- Emptying bins and maintaining waste disposal areas
- Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard
- Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns

About You
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently




- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently and follow cleaning schedules
- Available for early morning shifts and weekends
