- Strengthening partnerships and shared‑care pathways with local services
- Designing and facilitating age‑appropriate group programs focused on wellbeing and resilience
- Contributing to service evaluation, planning and continuous improvement activities
- Promoting a safe, healthy and collaborative working environment
About you You’re someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with young people and believes in their capacity for change. You bring warmth, professionalism and curiosity to your work, and you’re comfortable balancing clinical responsibility with flexibility and creativity.
You’ll be well‑placed for success if you bring:
- A qualification in Psychology, Mental Health Nursing, Mental Health Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Social Work, or a relevant allied health discipline (with appropriate experience)
- Confidence working with young people experiencing complex mental health presentations
- Experience in care coordination, risk monitoring and psychosocial support
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- An understanding of the challenges young people face in Australia today
- A team-oriented mindset and ability to manage competing priorities
You’ll also hold (or be eligible to obtain):
- A current Working With Children Check
- A Licensed Care Suitability Check
- A current C Class Driver’s Licence
Experience in trauma‑informed practice and knowledge of the local youth or health sector will be highly regarded. Why join Youturn?
- Be part of a values‑driven organisation making real community impact
- Work in a supportive, multidisciplinary team
- Ongoing learning, development and reflective practice opportunities
- A role where relationships, purpose and people truly come first
- Salary will be offered in line with the successful candidate's qualifications, experience, and demonstrated capability
