Montgomery Advisory is partnering with a leading independent Australian law firm to recruit a Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join its growing national practice.

The Role

You will work across a broad range of commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters, including:

- Complex contractual and commercial disputes
- Equity disputes and other business-related litigation
- Insolvency-related disputes
- Regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings
- Corruption inquiries, Royal Commissions and other major investigations
- Proceedings involving key Australian regulators
- High-value litigation, including matters in the Commercial List of the Supreme Court of NSW

You will have the opportunity to work on both large-scale, high-stakes litigation and smaller, sensitive disputes, developing your technical expertise and commercial judgement. The role also offers close collaboration with experienced litigators across multiple practice areas. About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- 2–4 years’ post-admission experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution
- Robust experience in commercial disputes, ideally across contractual, equity or insolvency matters
- Excellent legal research, drafting and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commercially minded approach




- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a team
- A genuine interest in developing your career in complex commercial litigation
