Role Description The Dispense Technician at Tugun Compounding Pharmacy is a full-time, on-site role based in Gold Coast, QLD. This role is responsible for accurately preparing and dispensing compounded medications in accordance with prescriptions and established protocols.

The Dispense Technician collaborates closely with pharmacists and other team members to ensure quality control, timely prescription processing, and compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

The role also involves providing clear, skilled communication to colleagues and supporting a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Compounding and Pharmacy practices, with the ability to follow precise formulations and protocols.
- Experience as Pharmacy Technicians, including dispensing, prescription handling, and workflow support in a pharmacy setting.
- Laboratory Skills such as accurate measuring, handling of chemicals,



equipment operation, and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards is not necessary, but preferred.
- Effective Communication skills for working collaboratively within a team and interacting professionally with pharmacists and clients.
- Formal training or certification in pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences is highly regarded.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to work on-site full time, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Previous experience in a compounding pharmacy or similar healthcare environment is an advantage.

The role is Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm, with an immediate start for the right candidate
