Education Assistants (Primary)

We are currently seeking to employ highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic Education Assistants to work within the Austin Cove Baptist College community in the Primary School.

Austin Cove Baptist College in South Yunderup is a co-educational College. The Primary campus currently has approximately 400 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The College is situated in the Austin Lakes development just east of Mandurah and provides a high standard of education within a Christian context.

College Aims The College seeks to present excellence in education within a Christian context by providing opportunities for the school community to become aware of God and to grow in a Christian environment.

Selection Criteria

Essential

- Rights to work in Australia




- Hold a Certificate III or IV in Education Support or equivalent
- An ability to clearly articulate a strong, personal Christian faith with regular church attendance.
- Hold a Working with Children Check and have a commitment to child safety and well-being.

Highly desired Qualities

- Ability to solve problems, set priorities, support others, show initiative and be flexible.
- A strong communicator, high social and emotional intelligence, and a commitment to relationship and cooperative practice.
- A track record in assisting and supporting the diverse needs of students
