Full House is recruiting for a well-established electrical infrastructure business delivering projects across NSW, including network connections, substations and associated civil works. They are now building out their maintenance, outage and commissioning services and need an HV-experienced estimator to help grow this part of the business.

The role

This role sits between the client and the delivery team. You'll understand what the client needs, work out the operational constraints, and turn that into a practical, accurately priced scope the maintenance team can deliver.

What you'll be doing

- Working with clients to understand their asset maintenance needs, operational challenges and upcoming works programs
- Scoping HV maintenance, outage and commissioning works, including isolation requirements and how to keep the client's site operating during works
- Preparing estimates, quotations and tender submissions for one-off jobs and longer-term O&M; service work
- Developing delivery methodologies and pricing assumptions with the Asset and Maintenance team
- Getting pricing and input from suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
- Identifying commercial, operational and resourcing risks before work is awarded

- Handing awarded work over to the delivery team with a clear brief
- Building strong client relationships that lead to repeat work

What you'll bring

- Electrical trade, engineering or other technical qualification, or equivalent industry experience. A hands-on trade background is highly regarded
- Sound working knowledge of HV installations and safe isolation practices for scoping works (essential)
- Experience in electrical maintenance, commissioning, estimating or technical sales, with the ability to cost and price work
- Confidence explaining technical detail to clients and translating it for delivery teams
- Robust commercial awareness, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Driver's licence and willingness to travel to metro and regional locations

What's on offer

- $180K + super
- Car included in the package
- A key role in a growing maintenance division
- Stable, long-term infrastructure work across NSW

If you understand HV work and enjoy being the person who connects the client's needs to what the team delivers, apply now or message Mandy at Full House for a confidential chat.
