Montgomery Advisory is partnering with a leading national law firm to recruit a Lawyer or Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Employment Relations & Safety team in Brisbane or Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex employment, industrial relations and work health and safety matters for major Australian businesses and government clients. You will gain exposure to high-profile workplace disputes, regulatory investigations and significant safety incidents, while working alongside experienced practitioners in a collaborative team that offers genuine opportunities for career progression.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of employment, industrial relations and workplace safety matters, including:

- Work health and safety investigations, prosecutions and regulatory proceedings
- Workplace incidents, coronial inquests and regulator investigations
- Employment disputes, unfair dismissal and general protections claims
- Enterprise bargaining and industrial relations matters
- Workplace investigations, disciplinary processes and employee grievances
- Psychosocial risks, organisational change and workplace compliance
- Employment advice involving senior executives and major Australian businesses

You will work closely with experienced practitioners on complex and high-profile matters, with opportunities to develop specialist expertise, manage client relationships and take greater ownership of matters.

About You

You will have





- 3+ years' post-admission experience in employment law, industrial relations or work health and safety
- Experience in workplace litigation, regulatory investigations or employment advisory work
- A strong interest in developing your expertise in WHS and employment relations
- Excellent analytical, drafting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across a team
- A commercially minded, proactive approach and a genuine commitment to client service
