Experienced Dental Assistant /Dental Receptionist

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Receptionist/Dental Assistant to join our busy, patient-focused dental practice. This is a dual-role position suited to someone who enjoys both front-office administration and clinical support. The successful applicant will be the welcoming face of our practice while also assisting our dentists and hygienists to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Reception

- Welcoming patients and delivering outstanding customer service
- Managing appointments and maintaining an efficient schedule
- Answering phone enquiries and responding to emails
- Processing payments, health fund claims and patient accounts
- Maintaining accurate patient records and general administration

Dental Assisting

- Chairside assisting for a range of dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments
- Infection control and sterilisation in accordance with current guidelines
- Assisting with stock control and maintaining clinical supplies
- Supporting the clinical team to ensure the smooth operation of the practice

About You

- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist and/or Dental Assistant




- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is desirable but not essential
- Experience with dental practice software (e.g. Dental4Windows, EXACT, Oasis or Core Practice) is highly regarded
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Professional presentation with a caring, patient-focused approach
- Reliable, adaptable and able to work effectively in a team
