About the role

CS Legal is seeking an Experienced Conveyancer to join our established boutique Property Settlement team. We are a WA based Law Firm with offices in Perth, Joondalup, Dunsborough and Bunbury, specialising in Property & Commercial Law, Property Settlements and Debt Recovery.

The position is permanent and full time and will suit candidates who are committed to taking an autonomous approach to their work.

You will be joining a high-performing and collaborative team, reporting to the Department Manager.

Key responsibilities

- Manage own portfolio of files with minimum 5 years conveyancing experience
- Liaise with clients, banks, agents, and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
- Handle full conveyancing matters from start to finish
- Prepare settlement documentation, prepare and adjust settlement statements with ability to explain the process clearly to clients
- Build positive relationships with clients and deliver excellent services
- Manage files and database – identify and resolve discrepancies immediately




- Handle paper-based settlements as well as electronic settlements using PEXA
- Demonstrate well-developed knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures
- Support senior conveyancers and admin staff as required

About you

- Minimum 5 years conveyancing experience managing own portfolio of files
- Professional and pleasant telephone manners
- Team player with workplace confidentiality awareness
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
- Demonstrated experience with PEXA and SETTPLUS
- Ability to prioritize workload and multitask
- Solid organisational skill with strong attention to detail
- Outstanding work ethic and can-do attitude
- Proactive and support-focused mindset with high levels of initiative
