GOJIP K-Grill & Sushi Buffet is currently seeking motivated, reliable and responsible Front of House (FOH) team members to join our busy restaurant in Underwood.

Positions Available1. Full time FOH Manager

Approximately 38–40 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced, responsible and hands-on FOH Manager who is confident in managing a busy restaurant environment and can commit to the position for at least six months.

Key Responsibilities

- Overseeing daily FOH operations and ensuring smooth restaurant service
- Preparing staff rosters and managing labour costs efficiently
- Supervising, training and supporting FOH team members
- Managing customer seating, reservations, table turnover and service flow
- Maintaining high standards of customer service and restaurant presentation
- Handling customer complaints and operational issues professionally
- Monitoring buffet service areas and coordinating with the kitchen team
- Allocating staff duties effectively according to customer volume and business needs
- Ensuring proper opening and closing procedures
- Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and workplace safety standards

Required Skills

- Previous FOH management or supervisory experience is highly preferred
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Ability to manage a busy, high-volume restaurant efficiently




- Good understanding of labour cost control and staff scheduling
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods
- Confidence in making independent operational decisions
- Flexible availability, including weekends and peak trading periods

The successful applicant must be confident in leading the FOH team, delegating responsibilities and maintaining efficient service throughout each shift. Any additional hours will be compensated in accordance with applicable employment conditions and Australian workplace laws.
1. Part-Time FOH Staff

Approximately 10–35 hours per week We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable FOH team members to support our daily restaurant operations.

Applicants with availability for dinner shifts, weekends and busy trading periods are particularly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcoming guests and assisting with seating
- Providing friendly and attentive customer service
- Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables efficiently
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of dining and buffet areas
- Assisting with customer enquiries and restaurant operations
- Following instructions and working cooperatively with team members
- Supporting smooth service during busy periods

Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential. Students and Working Holiday visa holders with valid Australian work rights are welcome to apply.
