About the role The role of Administration Officer is to contribute towards high-quality patient-centered experience at our reputable private hospital. You will assist in all administrative hospital services including, but not limited to, patient admissions, theatre booking, handling patient enquiries via phone, customer facing, as well as emails and using electronic software to maintain high quality record-keeping. Reporting to the Health Information Manager & Administration Supervisor you will play a critical role in our service delivery and growth, as well as patient and medical practitioner engagement.

Key responsibilities

- Contribute to hospital administration function in areas such as Front Reception, Pre-admissions, Theatre & Endoscopy admissions, discharge of patients, accurate record keeping
- Financial consent management including private health funding eligibility, patient accounts, billings, preparation of estimates, and debtor's collection
- Assist in process review and champion the continuous improvement processes we're undertaking at our hospital
- Assist the Administration Manager in maximising team performance through achieving team & hospital KPIs
- Handle enquiries and communicate feedback to our team




- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records
- Manage correspondence and assist with reports and audits

About you

- Experience in healthcare industry preferably in private hospital
- Experience in working with and contributing towards a diverse team of healthcare professionals
- Experience in improving administrative processes and efficiencies
- Proficient in technology usage, including different Medical Software & Patient Administration Systems
- A outstanding communicator with relatable interpersonal skills
