You will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our members and guests across our bar, gaming, café, and restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Opening and closing bar areas
- Preparing and serving beverages to a high standard
- Accurately processing transactions and handling cash
- Adhering to RSA and RSG requirements
- Conducting gaming operations
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of work areas
- Providing table service and general waiting duties
- Supporting safe work practices and wastage control
- Delivering outstanding customer service at all times

About You You are passionate about hospitality and genuinely enjoy building relationships with customers. You take pride in your presentation, communication skills, and ability to contribute positively to a team environment.

You bring

- A minimum of 1 year’s hospitality experience
- A strong work ethic and ability to adapt in a team setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence with till operations and cash handling
- Previous waiting experience
- A professional, well-groomed presentation
- The ability to work independently when required

Desirable:
- Barista experience
- Keno experience
- TAB experience
- Gaming Machine Attendant experience

Essential Qualifications

- Current RSA and RSG Statements of Attainment
- Current Food Handlers Certificate




- Eligibility to obtain a National Police Certificate if required.

Commis Chef/Chef De Partie, Full Time and Casual Positions Available Club Kawana is seeking energetic, dedicated, and experienced chefs to join our team. If you enjoy working in a supportive environment and have a passion for quality ingredients we would love to hear from you.

Play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our members and guests and work closely with the Head Chef to deliver consistent quality food.

Key Qualifications, Attributes, and Responsibilities:

- Demonstrated experience as a Commis, CDP, or equivalent role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and seek guidance when required to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
- Explicit and effective communication skills with excellent organisation to support teamwork and service flow.
- A hands-on approach with a strong work ethic, committed to delivering consistent, high-quality food and service.
- Proven ability to uphold quality and consistency across all menu items and service times.
- Cafe experience desirable but not essential.
- Flexible availability to work across rotating shifts including prep, lunch, and dinner service, as well as weekends and public holidays, in line with club operating hours.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or Kitchen Management.

Availability This is a casual position with weekly rostering. Flexibility is essential, as shifts include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
