Casual Scooper Join the Ben & Jerry's Sundae Shack Team!

We're looking for friendly, confident and motivated people to join our Ben & Jerry's Sundae Shack team at Westfield Carousel!

This is a casual position, and we're looking for people who are comfortable working independently, taking initiative and providing great customer service.

Sundae Shack is a little different from our traditional Ben & Jerry's stores, so we're looking for people who are outgoing, confident approaching customers and happy to actively promote our products.

We need team members who don't just wait for customers to come to them, but are willing to engage with people, recommend products and help drive sales throughout their shifts.

What you'll be doing

- Serving customers and making our delicious ice cream creations
- Actively engaging with customers and encouraging them to try our products
- Promoting our menu, recommending products and upselling where possible
- Opening and closing the kiosk, including working independently on some shifts
- Keeping the kiosk clean, organised and well stocked
- Preparing products and following our portioning and presentation standards
- Following food safety procedures and daily cleaning tasks
- Taking initiative and finding ways to improve sales and the customer experience

What we're looking for
- Full availability from mid December 2026 to the end of January 2027 is essential
- Confident, outgoing and comfortable approaching customers
- Someone who enjoys sales and isn't afraid to start conversations
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without constant supervision
- Someone who takes initiative and actively looks for ways to increase sales




- Friendly, reliable and enthusiastic with positive communication skills
- Able to stay productive and motivated during quieter periods
- Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

Availability We're currently looking for casual staff with a range of availability, including:
- Daytime shifts: Ideally 2–3 days per week. Happy to work around uni timetables!
- Evening shifts: Including after-school hours and Thursday nights until late
- Weekends: Availability across Saturdays and Sundays

As summer is our busiest trading period, all applicants must have full availability from mid December 2026 through to the end of January 2027, including weekends and public holidays.
