Who are we looking for?

It's an exciting time to join LOD (Lawyers On Demand). As we continue to grow, we're keen to hear from lawyers with strong experience in franchising, commercial contracts and property matters.

You'll join our team of talented lawyers and work on assignment with the in-house legal team of a well known national brand with an extensive franchise network. In this role, you'll partner closely with stakeholders across the business, providing practical, commercially focused legal support on a broad range of franchising, commercial and operational matters.

What you'll be doing:

- Providing legal support across a broad range of franchising, commercial, property and operational matters

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating franchise agreements, commercial contracts, supply agreements, and termination agreements

- Supporting franchising transactions, including franchisee onboarding, renewals, transfers and exits

- Advising on franchise network compliance, operational issues, dispute resolution, mediations and risk management matters

- Managing franchising disputes and franchisee exits, including advising on strategic and contentious matters

- Assisting with intellectual property matters including trade mark registrations and renewals

- Providing advice on marketing, consumer law, regulatory and compliance matters

To be suitable, you'll have:





- A minimum of 5 PQE with relevant experience

- Demonstrated experience advising on franchising matters, ideally within a franchise network, retail, hospitality or FMCG environment

- Experience managing franchising transactions and documentation

- Strong commercial contracting and negotiation skills

- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building capabilities
