About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance & Repairs Tradesperson for an immediate start to carry out a wide range of general maintenance, repair and minor construction works across residential properties. This role suits someone hands-on, self-motivated, and proud of delivering quality workmanship and great customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general maintenance and repair works, including carpentry, minor plumbing and minor electrical tasks (within licence limits)
- Install, repair and replace fixtures and fittings (doors, locks, windows, cabinetry, shelving, etc.)
- Patch, repair and paint walls, ceilings and other surfaces
- Carry out basic tiling, grouting and waterproofing repairs
- Diagnose issues and recommend practical repair solutions
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding work required, progress and completion




- Ensure all works comply with relevant Australian standards, building codes and WHS requirements
- Complete job documentation, photos and reports as required

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience with maintenance & repair jobs, and handyperson works in a similar role
- Strong all-round trade skills, particularly in carpentry and painting
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and competently

Qualifications & Requirements

- Relevant trade qualifications
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Own basic hand tools/toolbox
- Own trade vehicle

Pay: $26.44 – $48.99 per hour Expected hours: 38.0 per week
