An outstanding opportunity is available for an experienced Obstetrics & Gynaecology Consultant / Staff Specialist to join a leading metropolitan teaching hospital in Adelaide, South Australia.

Offering an attractive remuneration package of $450,000–$700,000 per annum, this position combines the clinical diversity and professional opportunities of a major tertiary hospital with the enviable lifestyle, convenience and affordability that Adelaide has to offer.

With more than 3,800 births annually, the maternity service offers exposure to a broad range of obstetric presentations, including complex and high-risk pregnancies, alongside comprehensive gynaecological services.

As an O&G; Consultant, you will:

- Provide high-quality specialist obstetric and gynaecological care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Manage a diverse range of obstetric presentations, including complex and high-risk pregnancies.
- Deliver comprehensive gynaecological assessment, treatment and management.
- Work collaboratively with experienced Consultants, Registrars, Midwives and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Contribute to clinical leadership, quality improvement and the ongoing development of women's health services.
- Participate in the education, supervision and mentoring of junior medical staff and trainees.

The hospital offers comprehensive clinical services across Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care, General Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Neonatology, Oncology and Mental Health.

Obstetrics & Gynaecology is a major clinical service, supporting one of the busiest maternity units in South Australia, with more than 3,800 babies born each year.

The service provides:

- Comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
- Specialist management of complex and high-risk pregnancies.
- Gynaecological inpatient,



outpatient and surgical services.
- Dedicated women's health facilities.
- Neonatal and paediatric services supporting mothers and babies.
- Multidisciplinary care delivered by experienced specialist, medical, nursing and midwifery teams.

Requirements

Applicants should meet one of the following criteria:

- FRANZCOG qualification and current Specialist Registration with AHPRA, or eligibility for Specialist Registration.
- Overseas-trained Obstetricians & Gynaecologists who are eligible for the expedited specialist pathway with AHPRA may be considered.
