About the role

Lead the people strategy and day-to-day HR function for an Indigenous-led, purpose-driven organisation. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will advise leaders, strengthen people systems and help grow meaningful Indigenous employment and career pathways.

Key responsibilities

- Advise on industrial relations, employment law, contracts, policy and complex employee matters.

- Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and culturally safe Indigenous employment pathways.

- Strengthen culture, engagement, performance management and leadership capability.

- Maintain remuneration, perks and People and Culture policies.

- Improve people systems, workforce reporting and digital HR processes.

- Lead practical change while protecting compliance, governance and cultural integrity.

About you

- Substantial generalist HR experience, including senior-level industrial and employee relations case management with relevant qualifications.





- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and the Fair Work framework.

- Experience across recruitment, culture, performance, policy and workforce development.

- Confidence with HR systems, reporting tools and business technology.

- Sound judgement, high organisational and strong communication, consultation and relationship skills.

- Cultural capability and a demonstrated commitment to Indigenous employment and culturally safe workplaces.
