Northwest Health Medical Centre is seeking an experienced, organised and proactive Part-Time Practice Manager to join our friendly, community-focused general practice.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager or Assistant Practice Manager seeking a versatile leadership role, with the opportunity to make a genuine difference in a close-knit medical practice.

Working on-site two days per week, you will be responsible for overseeing daily practice operations, supporting our clinical and administrative team, and working closely with senior management to maintain a high standard of patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operational and administrative functions of the practice.
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to reception, nursing and clinical staff.
- Assist with staff rostering, onboarding, training and performance management.
- Maintain RACGP accreditation standards and ongoing compliance requirements.
- Coordinate quality improvement initiatives, risk assessments and workplace health and safety processes.
- Oversee patient feedback, complaints and incident management.
- Monitor Medicare billing, financial administration and practice performance.
- Ensure practice policies, procedures and registers are maintained and regularly reviewed.
- Liaise with GPs, allied health professionals,



external providers and senior management.
- Identify opportunities to improve patient experience, operational efficiency and practice growth.

About You
- Previous experience as a Practice Manager, Assistant Practice Manager or in a similar general practice leadership role.
- Strong understanding of general practice operations, Medicare billing and RACGP accreditation requirements.
- Experience using Best Practice software is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence managing day-to-day practice operations independently.
- A proactive, professional and approachable leadership style.
