About the role

You'll be the Factory Manager running our automated precast concrete production floor at our new purpose-built 3,500m² facility at Jilliby, producing formwork-based precast elements like walls, columns, beams and flooring.

You'll deliver the production schedule, own panel quality assurance, maintain high operational standards, and lead a small team through rapid growth as our throughput scales 4x through automation. This role combines hands-on production leadership with the opportunity to shape how automation integrates into our operations.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver production targets: lead the team through great organisation and attention to detail, ensuring production targets are met
- Own panel QA: check dimensions, reo, cast-ins and finish against the shop drawings before anything leaves the factory
- Run a clean, organised factory: maintain a clean and tidy factory because the automation runs best on a clean, organised floor
- Leverage the robotic automation: our robotic system automates up to 75% of panel production. Ensure that our panel throughput reflects this by helping and driving factory staff to execute their responsibilities effectively
- Lead from the front: set high standards,



drive the team to its potential, and get on the tools when that's what it takes to meet and beat targets

About you

- A track record running production and leading crews in precast, steel fixing, concrete or manufacturing
- Practical concrete knowledge (reo, cast-ins, formwork, pours and finishes), enough to QA a panel and step in on the tools
- Confidence reading shop drawings and running a production schedule
- Comfort with technology: scheduling software, production data and automated equipment
- Thrive in a agile workplace where priorities can shift quickly
- Hold high standards and won't walk past a bad panel or a messy floor
- Can get the best out of a crew and earn their respect by working alongside them
- Get a genuine buzz from technology and want to see how far automation can take precast
