LUVI is recruiting a Senior PV Engineer and a Principal PV Engineer to support the delivery of solar farm projects across Australia and New Zealand.

The opportunities

You’ll contribute to the electrical design of utility-scale solar farms, working closely with clients, project teams and other engineering disciplines.

The Senior PV Engineer will focus on delivering and coordinating detailed design packages. The Principal PV Engineer will combine hands-on design with technical leadership, design review and mentoring.

Your responsibilities will include

- Developing detailed electrical design packages for utility-scale solar PV projects.
- Preparing and reviewing electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, cable sizing calculations, cable schedules and equipment specifications.
- Using PVcase to develop and refine solar farm layouts and support design delivery.
- Coordinating design inputs across disciplines and resolving technical interfaces.
- Ensuring designs meet applicable Australian and New Zealand standards, client specifications and project requirements.




- Supporting projects through design reviews, technical queries and construction-stage design changes.
- At Principal level, providing technical oversight, reviewing deliverables and mentoring other engineers.

About you You’re a qualified electrical engineer with experience designing utility-scale solar farms and delivering detailed design packages.

You’ll bring

- A degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant solar PV design experience at Senior or Principal level.
- Hands-on experience with PVcase.
- Experience delivering projects in Australia and/or New Zealand.
- Strong understanding of solar farm electrical systems and the interfaces between PV layouts, equipment selection and electrical design.
- The ability to produce clear, accurate technical documentation and work collaboratively with clients and project teams.
- For the Principal role, demonstrated experience leading technical delivery, reviewing designs and supporting other engineers.
