/n Project Manager – Landscape Construction /n Urban Grounds & Gardens | Sydney, NSW | Full-Time /n The Opportunity /n /n Urban Grounds & Gardens is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Landscape Construction to join our growing Construction Division. /n /n Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing concurrent commercial landscape construction projects of varying size and complexity, including softscapes, hardscapes, irrigation and minor civil works. /n /n We are looking for a capable, hands-on Project Manager with strong commercial acumen, proven leadership skills and an uncompromising commitment to workplace safety. /n /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Project Delivery: Manage multiple projects from mobilisation through to practical completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to specification.

/n

- Commercial Management: Take ownership of project budgets, cost control, forecasting, progress claims, variations and profitability.

/n

- Contract Administration: Manage contractual obligations, project documentation, subcontractor procurement and head contractor requirements.

/n

- Leadership: Lead and support Site Supervisors, Leading Hands, field teams and subcontractors, driving accountability, productivity and performance.

/n

- Safety & Compliance: Champion workplace safety and ensure compliance with WHS legislation, SWMS, company procedures and site requirements.

/n

- Planning & Coordination: Manage construction programs, resources, procurement, subcontractors and competing project priorities.

/n

- Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong working relationships with head contractors, clients, consultants and suppliers.

/n

- Quality Assurance: Oversee workmanship, inspections, defects management and project handovers.

/n /n Skills & Experience /n Essential: /n /n

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction project management,



ideally within commercial landscape construction.

/n

- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent construction projects.

/n

- Strong commercial management skills, including budgets, cost forecasting, variations, progress claims and margin management.

/n

- Demonstrated experience working with commercial head contractors and administering construction contracts.

/n

- Proven leadership and people management capability.

/n

- Strong understanding of construction WHS requirements, risk management and compliance.

/n

- Experience managing subcontractor procurement, performance and costs.

/n

- Excellent written and verbal communication, planning and problem-solving skills.

/n

- Current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.

- Certificate III in Landscape Construction, Project Management qualifications or related trade/tertiary qualifications.

/n

- Technical experience across softscape, hardscape, irrigation and minor civil works.

/n

- Proficiency in construction project management and reporting software.
