Montgomery Advisory is partnering with a leading independent Australian law firm to recruit a Lawyer or Associate to join its highly regarded Real Estate team in Sydney or Melbourne .

This is an excellent opportunity to work with major institutional investors, property developers, landlords and leading commercial operators on a diverse range of high-quality real estate matters. The team has a strong national presence and advises on significant property transactions and developments across the retail, industrial and mixed-use sectors.

The Role

You will work across a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including:

- Commercial, retail and industrial leasing
- Drafting and negotiating leases and associated property documentation
- Advising landlords, tenants, developers and institutional investors
- Property acquisitions and disposals
- Property development and management matters
- Supporting major real estate transactions and projects

You will gain exposure to sophisticated clients and transactions while working alongside experienced practitioners in a team-oriented, commercially focused environment.

About You

You will have

- 2–4 years' post-admission experience in property or real estate law
- Strong experience in commercial leasing,



ideally across a broad range of matters
- Excellent drafting skills and strong attention to detail
- A commercial, client-focused approach
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a team
- A genuine interest in developing your career within a leading real estate practice
