About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Control Officer to join our manufacturing team in Hope Valley, Perth.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring our modular buildings meet internal quality standards, client expectations and regulatory requirements throughout the manufacturing process.

This role would suit someone with a strong understanding of construction, particularly a qualified carpenter or tradesperson looking to step off the tools and into a quality-focused position. You'll use your practical building knowledge to identify issues, verify workmanship and help ensure every project leaves our facility to the highest standard.

A key part of the role involves inspecting and documenting each stage of the build process, including capturing photographic evidence and maintaining accurate records within our quality management systems. You will work closely with manufacturing teams and supervisors to ensure quality is maintained from start to finish.

What You Will Do

- Conduct inspections throughout the manufacturing process to verify build quality and compliance
- Complete quality control records and maintain accurate documentation
- Capture and upload inspection photos for key construction milestones
- Work closely with supervisors, tradespeople and subcontractors to resolve quality issues
- Support client walkthroughs and factory inspections
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and defect reduction
- Ensure compliance with company standards, building codes and relevant regulations
- Assist with reporting, audits and stocktake activities as required

What You Will Bring

- Trade qualification in Carpentry or Certificate IV in Building & Construction
- Experience within construction, manufacturing or modular building environments
- Strong understanding of construction methods and quality requirements
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Current Construction White Card
