This is: the job An opportunity for an experienced SAP Deployment Manager to take on a leading role in the delivery of a complex SAP S/4HANA transformation. Based in Melbourne, on a 12-month contract, with the opportunity to extend.

You’ll own deployment planning and execution, bringing together business and technology teams to ensure operational readiness and a controlled transition through Go-Live. From comprehensive deployment plans and dress rehearsals through to hypercare, risk management and performance tracking, you’ll be central to successful delivery.

This role will suit an accomplished SAP deployment professional who is comfortable operating at a senior level, managing complex dependencies and turning strategy into well-coordinated execution.

This is: what you'll do

- Lead end-to-end deployment planning and execution across multiple business areas

- Develop comprehensive deployment plans covering resources, timelines, budgets and key dependencies

- Plan, coordinate and execute dress rehearsals to validate deployment and operational readiness

- Develop and implement the Hypercare support plan, coordinating support teams for rapid resolution of post-go-live issues

- Drive risk identification and mitigation to protect deployment milestones and outcomes

- Manage and mentor deployment teams while coordinating cross-functional delivery activities

- Collaborate with business, technology and leadership stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new SAP S/4HANA systems and processes

- Monitor deployment performance, escalating issues and implementing corrective actions where required

- Provide clear progress, performance and risk reporting to senior leadership

- Ensure deployment activities meet organisational standards and compliance requirements

This is: what you'll need

- Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA operations management, deployment or closely related delivery roles




- A solid track record of successfully implementing complex SAP S/4HANA projects

- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced transformation environments

- Strong deployment planning, resource allocation, process improvement and workflow management capability

- Experience planning deployment readiness activities, including dress rehearsals and post-go-live hypercare

- Strong risk, dependency and issue management skills

- Ability to interpret operational data and use insights to support delivery decisions

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, project management tools and performance dashboards

- Excellent stakeholder management

- Project Management, PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification will be highly regarded

- Experience with global or multi-region deployments and change management will also be advantageous
