The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior Insolvency Accountant to join the Melbourne CBD team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insolvency professional to work across a broad range of corporate insolvency appointments, take ownership of engagements and work closely with experienced senior practitioners.

You will be involved in:

- Managing and progressing a variety of corporate insolvency appointments
- Working across CVLs, VAs, receiverships, liquidations, SBRs and other restructuring engagements
- Conducting investigations into company affairs, assets and financial records
- Preparing reports to creditors, statutory documentation and other appointment-related deliverables
- Liaising with directors, creditors, solicitors and other key stakeholders
- Assisting with asset realisations, recoveries and the progression of complex matters




- Supporting junior team members and contributing to the successful delivery of engagements

About You:

- 2+ years’ experience in insolvency and restructuring
- Exposure to a range of corporate insolvency appointments
- Strong technical knowledge of insolvency processes and relevant legislation
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and take ownership of your work
- A proactive approach and a genuine interest in continuing to develop your insolvency career
- CA/CPA studies completed or in progress will be highly regarded
