Senior Environment & Planning Lawyer- Interim Opportunity- Melbourne- 6-12 Month Contract

Beacon Legal Connect is working with a leading international law firm on a unique interim chance within its Melbourne Environment & Planning practice. We are interested in speaking with highly experienced Environment & Planning lawyers who would be open to a flexible, senior-level engagement.

This opportunity could particularly suit a former Partner, Senior Consultant or experienced practitioner who has stepped away from full-time private practice but would welcome the opportunity to contribute their expertise in a well-established team.

The opportunity:

- Provide senior-level expertise and guidance across Environment & Planning matters.
- Support and mentor an established team of lawyers.
- Act as a senior point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
- Contribute to the ongoing management and delivery of matters across the practice.

About you:

- Extensive experience in Environment & Planning law, ideally within private practice.




- Previous Partner, Consultant or equivalent senior-level experience.
- Strong client relationship management and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative approach and genuine interest in mentoring and supporting others.
- Experience across front-end and/or contentious Environment & Planning matters.

What's on offer:

- Flexible engagement of approximately 6-12 months.
- Full-time or part-time arrangements considered (minimum 3 days per week).
- Melbourne-based opportunity.
- No requirement to bring an existing client practice.
