Senior Project Manager – Virtualisation & Cloud An exciting chance has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a significant infrastructure program focused on virtualisation and cloud. This is a key role within a large Perth-based organisation undergoing a major technology modernisation, where you’ll be responsible for driving delivery from planning through to execution.

THE ROLE Reporting to the Program Manager, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of virtualisation and cloud initiatives, with a strong emphasis on integrated scheduling, resource planning and stakeholder alignment across technical and business teams.

Key responsibilities include

- Leading the planning and delivery of virtualisation and cloud infrastructure projects
- Developing and maintaining detailed integrated project schedules, including dependencies and critical path
- Coordinating resource planning across internal teams, vendors and partners
- Managing scope, budget, risks,



issues and change control
- Overseeing migration, cutover and transition activities
- Producing transparent reporting for steering committees and senior stakeholders
- Ensuring alignment with project governance frameworks and architectural standards

THE COMPANY Our client is a well-established Western Australian organisation with a large, complex technology environment. They are investing heavily in modernising their infrastructure and moving towards a hybrid cloud model, and are looking for a strong delivery lead to help make it happen.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering infrastructure projects in complex environments
- Strong background in virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V or similar) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or hybrid)
- Advanced scheduling and planning skills using MS Project or similar tools
- Experience managing data centre, migration or platform modernisation projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Solid understanding of project methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile or hybrid)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or project management certification highly regarded
