Role Description The Service Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Artarmon NSW, with frequent commuting to our Frenchs Forest factory. The position is responsible for overseeing the after-sales service, repair, and maintenance support for Makinex Renewables products.

This is a stand alone role with full autonomy. Duties include scheduling and prioritizing work, providing technical support to customers, ensuring timely and high-quality repairs, and maintaining service records and reporting.

The Service

Manager coordinates with customers, hire companies,



and internal stakeholders to diagnose issues, provide technical guidance, and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

- Strong background in service management or technical support within equipment, machinery, or construction-related industries.
- Certificate IV in electrotechnology or electrical engineering degree licensed to work on electrical installations and equipment in Australia.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems, including fault finding, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, able to manage inquiries, complaints, and service escalations professionally.
- Experience with service administration, including work orders, documentation, warranties, and use of service management or ERP systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to maintain service records, reports, and compliance with safety standards.
- Prior experience in a service role is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site at Makinex or at customers' premises
