Renewables & Data Centres | Major Electrical Infrastructure

We’re looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager with a strong track record delivering substations and HV electrical infrastructure.

We need someone who understands the realities of substation construction: coordinating civil and electrical works, managing multiple contractors, working around HV infrastructure and driving the job through construction, testing and commissioning.

The project portfolio spans the renewable energy and data centre sectors, where substations and associated electrical infrastructure are critical to successful project delivery.

What you'll deliver

- Take overall responsibility for day-to-day construction delivery on site, including safety, quality, programme and resources.
- Lead and coordinate civil, electrical and mechanical contractors, ensuring works are delivered safely and to specification.
- Plan site activities, identify construction risks and resolve constructability, sequencing and interface issues before they impact the programme.
- Manage subcontractor performance and coordinate closely with engineering, commissioning,



client and project teams.
- Provide clear visibility on progress, schedule, cost, variations and emerging site issues.

What we're looking for

- Significant substation construction experience is essential, ideally gained across transmission, sub-transmission, distribution or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong working knowledge of HV electrical infrastructure and the civil and electrical construction methodologies associated with it.
- Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary contractors and complex site interfaces.
- Trade or tertiary qualifications in electrical, construction, building or a related discipline.
- A practical, site-focused approach with strong safety, planning, contractor and stakeholder management capability.
