About the role

This is a hands-on senior role split between site and office. You'll lead crews on industrial coatings projects across Sydney and the Illawarra, and you'll support the delivery side of the business from the office.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise painting crews and subcontractors on industrial and protective coatings projects
- Oversee surface preparation, blasting and coating application to specification
- Carry out coating inspections, DFT checks and QA testing
- Manage WHS, SWMS, permits and site compliance
- Liaise with clients, builders and principal contractors on site
- Prepare and manage ITPs, QA documentation and job records
- Assist with quoting, estimating and reviewing specifications
- Plan programs, labour and materials
- Report on job progress to management and clients

About you

- 10–20 years' experience in industrial painting and protective coatings




- NACE / AMPP certification (CIP Level 2 or 3 highly regarded)
- Robust understanding of coating systems, surface preparation standards and industrial painting specifications
- Proven experience supervising crews and running projects
- Willing to travel, work away from home when needed, and work Saturdays and occasional night shifts as required
- Confident with paperwork, QA systems and client communication
- Current White Card and driver's licence
