Site Manager / Site Supervisor – Remedial construction

Are you an experienced site supervisor professional who knows how to manage a crew, control labour costs and keep projects running profitably?

We are partnering with an established specialist construction business seeking a hands-on Site Manager/Site Supervisor to join its Sydney operations.

This is an opportunity for someone with strong technical remedial construction knowledge who enjoys being out on-site, leading teams and taking ownership of project delivery.

This isn't your typical Site Manager role. We're looking for someone who has directly managed waterproofing crews, not just coordinated subcontractors.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Project Management team, you'll oversee multiple remedial construction projects across Sydney, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.

You'll be predominantly site-based, providing practical leadership and ensuring the right people and resources are allocated to each project.

Key Responsibilities

- Directly supervise and manage waterproofing crews across multiple sites.
- Plan and allocate labour according to project requirements and budgets.
- Monitor labour hours, productivity and costs to ensure projects remain profitable.
- Coordinate resources across different projects and stages of work.
- Provide technical guidance, training and support to site teams.
- Oversee waterproofing installations, workmanship and quality standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs.
- Review timesheets, approve labour hours and monitor weekly labour reports.
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers regarding progress,



budgets and site requirements.
- Build positive relationships with clients and identify potential opportunities for additional work.

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience directly managing labour crews – essential.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to manage labour budgets, workforce allocation and productivity.
- Confidence leading, mentoring and motivating site-based teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of project profitability.
- Ability to plan work effectively, solve problems and make practical decisions on-site.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Waterproofing licence advantageous, but not essential.

Formal Project Management qualifications are not essential. We value practical experience, technical expertise and proven leadership ability. What's on Offer?
