We’re looking for a creative, switched-on Social Media Content Creator to help bring an exciting home renovation project to life across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
This role isn’t just about posting pretty pictures. We want someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling, watch to the end, engage, share and come back for more. Someone who knows their Reels from their Shorts, understands the algorithm and loves turning everyday renovation moments into scroll-stopping content. ??
? WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Creating and editing engaging short-form videos from existing footage - no filming or shooting required as we have camera operators already filming everything.
- Planning and publishing content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, 2–3 times daily, 5 days a week.
- Writing catchy captions, hooks and content that sparks conversation and keeps audiences coming back.
- Creating content with sponsorships, brand partnerships and sponsor deliverables front of mind.
- Bringing fresh ideas to the table and finding creative ways to make our renovation journey stand out.
- Keeping content organised, consistent & polished with a sharp eye for detail.
- Staying on top of trends, platform updates and algorithm changes to maximise reach, engagement and growth.
? YOU’RE OUR PERSON IF YOU…
- Have 2–5 years of social media experience, including managing social media for a brand.
- Have excellent video editing skills and know how to make existing footage look amazing.
- Can write engaging,
personality-filled content that connects with an audience.
- Understand how to build traction, grow an audience and work with each platform’s algorithm.
- Are creative, proactive and full of ideas - you don’t need someone looking over your shoulder to get things done.
- Are highly organised, independent and meticulous about the little details.
- Can balance creativity with commercial goals, particularly when delivering sponsored content.
- Love home renovation, interiors, DIY or lifestyle content (a big plus!).
? THE DETAILS
- Location: Newtown (NSW) office.
- Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week, with flexible working hours.
- Contract: Initial 6-month contract with a view to further work.
- Content: Home renovation, behind-the-scenes progress, transformations & sponsored collaborations
- Platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok & YouTube.
