About the role

This role involves assisting internal and external customers via phone, email, or in person to determine exact parts requirements, provide advice, and ensure timely delivery of parts. You will use specialist knowledge to identify vehicle or equipment make, model, and variation, then source and supply the correct parts.

Key responsibilities

- Assist internal and external customers via phone, email, or in person to determine exact parts requirements and provide advice

- Source and supply the correct parts

- Process orders, invoices, and payments

- Manage stock records and handle returns, exchanges, and credits

- Maintain parts inventory and perform stocktakes and cycle counts

- Monitor stock levels to ensure availability

- Respond to technician requests and manufacture or assemble parts like hydraulic hoses

- Deliver parts to workshops as needed

- Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, freight charges, and stock discrepancies
