MEGA Resources is a Perth-based mining company and mine owner with an in-house service team, operating across gold mining projects in Western Australia. With a strong focus on safety, quality and operational performance, we provide end-to-end mining solutions across the project lifecycle.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated SQT Advisor to join our growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a hands-on, site-based role where you'll work closely with management, supervisors and operational teams to support safety, quality and training requirements across our mining operations.

We're looking for someone who has a solid foundation in safety and compliance, a positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn, develop their skills and get involved in all aspects of the mining lifecycle.

About the Role

- Support day-to-day safety, quality and training activities across site operations.
- Assist with incident investigations, reporting and corrective action follow-ups.
- Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and safety audits.
- Support site training requirements, competency assessments and compliance tracking.
- Work closely with supervisors,



employees and subcontractors to promote safe work practices.
- Maintain accurate SQT records, reporting and compliance documentation.
- Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of safety, quality and training systems and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to operational teams on site SQT requirements.

What We're Looking For

- 18 months to 3 years' experience in a safety, quality or training role, with mining experience highly regarded.
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (OHS/WHS).
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (T&A;).
- ICAM Investigation Certificate.
- Current National Police Clearance.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Auditing qualifications – desirable
- Experience using safety management systems such as INX, STEMS or myOSH – desirable
- Current First Aid Certificate – desirable
- Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue (or currently working towards completion) – desirable
