$45–$50 per hour + Super

Prime Rehab is seeking a reliable, friendly and detail‑oriented Support Worker / Cleaner to provide weekly house cleaning for an NDIS participant living in Thornbury.

This is an ongoing casual position for one shift per week, with some flexibility around the exact day and time.

About the Role

You will provide one-on-one support focused on house cleaning and maintaining a safe, comfortable home environment.

Shift details:

- 1 shift per week
- 3–4 hours per week
- Day/time versatile by agreement
- Thornbury location

Responsibilities include:

- General house cleaning (e.g. vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces)
- Bathroom and kitchen cleaning
- Changing bed linen as required
- Light tidying and organising
- Rubbish removal and basic household tasks
- Respecting the participant’s privacy, preferences and routines
- Providing friendly, respectful interaction while you work

About You

You are

- Friendly, patient and reliable
- Comfortable working independently in someone’s home
- Thorough and efficient with cleaning tasks
- Respectful of boundaries, confidentiality and cultural preferences





Greek-speaking applicants are particularly encouraged to apply, as this is preferred for supporting communication and rapport.

Essential Requirements

- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (or reliable transport to Thornbury)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working rights in Australia

Desirable

- Experience in domestic or commercial cleaning
- Experience supporting people with disability, aged care or in home care
- Greek language skills
- Qualifications or studies in Disability Support, Aged Care or similar (not essential)
