The Role

We are currently seeking a casual Transcriber to join our Brisbane team. This is a hybrid role with some days at home and some days in-office.

Transcribers are responsible for the accurate and timely production of transcript in various styles and formats, utilizing a variety of audio types and production and research tools. Transcripts must be produced in accordance with contractual and client-driven deadlines with a focus on quality and accuracy.

About you

You probably love to read. You have a commendable vocabulary and wouldn’t mind embellishing it with some niche legal terminology. You type with ease, and with excellent spelling and grammar. You are comfortable with technology.

The ideal candidate will have

- Availability to work 3-5 days per week,



Monday-Friday 10.00am - 6pm with flexibility to work earlier or later if required.

- Ability to work in-office and from home when needed.

- Typing speed of 70 wpm

- Excellent English vocabulary and grammar

- Excellent reading comprehension

- Ability to use computers, and proficiency in MS Word

- Australian citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency

- Residency in Australia

You will need to be willing to obtain or hold a National Police Check.

Prior experience in audio transcription is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
